First Snow of Fall 2011

You knew it had to come sooner or later.  But I'm not sure we needed the full spectrum, sleet, hail, rain and snow all in one fell swoop.  Wonder of wonders though, it is not a snow day for schools.

  1. Oh, too bad about the snow. Too soon, too soon. We are having mega rain storms and the weather forcasters are telling us how many inches we would have had if it had been snow. Mean fella; I think they get their jollies that way.

I hope you have a quick melting. It does look lovely though, doesn't it?

  2. Pretty photos but I can get by without snow for a while longer. Mind you, last year we had snow at this time and it was followed by a long hard winter.

  3. Snow and ice are welcome anytime--especially because of all the photo ops they bring! I can say that where I am.
