Fall Shots

Kind of a wet washout for the weekend.  Well Sunday was okay, but mighty windy and between the two days, most of the leaves are gone.  Fortunately, I still have a few shots left over from last weekend, when the weather was balmy and the leaves were still hanging in there.  Because we have not experienced the typical hard frosts of late September, the leaf colour was just not particularly brilliant this year. Reds just seemed to be few and far between and then pretty much limited to the sumacs.

Closed for business until next spring.

Enjoying the fall sunshine.

Winter is just around the bend.
And that is about all I have to say for today.

  1. Lovely pics! I was noticing the lack of reds myself.

  2. Looks like we're all in the same boat. And thanks for reminding me; I must make some new nesting boxes before Spring, mine are all falling to bits.

  3. Great shots. I like the rusty, paint-pealing subjects. Adds character. :-)
