The Cinderella Room

Well we are nearly finished the saga of the rental house, I hope.


This weekend we tackled the last of the bedroom renovations.  I have included some before and after pictures.  Use your imagination to envision the steps between the photos.  I can hardly believe how much equipment you have to move in and out, and around while you do this sort of thing.  And then there is the garbage that accumulates.  Anyway to make a short story from a long one, the room is done, the equipment is back home, and the garbage is ready to go to the curb, or help to create ambience at our next bonfire.

The initial cause of all this commotion.  This is the photo that our former tenants sent. I've already vented enough on that topic on former blogs.

After the mold removal experts had removed the drywall and hepavac'd the room.

This photo shows the repaired drywall, baseboards, new lighter, brighter paint and the installed click flooring.

And here is the south east corner all fixed up, as good as new.
